ARTWORK DETAILS:
DOORS takes inspiration from Escher's impossible worlds.
The labyrinth of doors represents the myriad of choices that adults constantly throw in young people's faces, berating them for not knowing how to choose.
This labyrinth of potential paths, and the lack of support from older generations, creates in them a sense of anxiety, confusion and uncertainty.
The Key printed on the front of the t-shirt, above the designers' signatures, is the representation of an imaginary tool capable of opening all doors.
A key which leaves them with the question: once I opened a door, what will I find next?
The power of this design is simply disarming.
